Our Methodology
WorldIndex aggregates data from 78+ international indexes published by leading organizations. Each index is mapped to one of 12 thematic domains.
Composite Scores
Domain composite scores are calculated as the weighted average of normalized index scores within each domain. Country composite scores aggregate all domain scores.
Normalization
All raw scores are normalized to a 0–100 scale to enable cross-index comparison. For indexes where lower scores are better (e.g. Global Peace Index), the scale is inverted.
Data Sources
Sources include the World Bank, UNDP, WHO, WEF, Transparency International, IEP, Yale EPI, and 70+ other organizations.
